Director of Operations & Planning

A valued member of our professional staff, Emil has been in the financial services industry since 2000, with a well-rounded background in planning, compliance, operations, and team building. After more than a decade of conversations with longtime friend Sean, the two officially partnered in 2024 to grow the vision of Integrated Financial Strategies. Emil thrives on building relationships and tackling challenges, whether it’s offering a fresh perspective or connecting clients with the right professional. He believes success starts with good communication and a plan

A true Coloradan, Emil embodies the “all-American cliché”: life in the suburbs with his wife, four kids, and two dogs. When he’s not with clients, you’ll find him trying to keep up with the kids, exploring the mountains, or hanging out with friends and family—all while staying deeply connected to the community he calls home.

BRETT HEUERTZ

ASSOCIATE FINANCIAL ADVISOR

Brett joined IFS in January of 2021. He is an Associate Financial Advisor for our Asset Management group and holds Series 7, 66, and life insurance licenses. Brett handles tasks such as investment research, account servicing, and conducting review meetings with our investment clients. In his downtime, he enjoys spending time outdoors and is a Nebraska Cornhuskers football fan as well as a Denver University hockey season ticket holder.

Carrick McCann

Planning Associate

Carrick joined Integrated Financial Strategies in 2024 and serves as a Planning Associate, supporting our advisors throughout the planning journey. He is key to ensuring the process runs smoothly by organizing client information, coordinating with clients and outside professionals, and keeping important planning tasks and follow-up moving forward. 

A Colorado native, Carrick brings strong organizational skills, a genuine heart for service, and a commitment to continually expanding his knowledge within the financial services industry. Grounded in his faith, he strives to live and work with integrity and purpose while making a positive impact on the clients, families, and people around him

TERRI LANE

Client Experience

Terri has been with Integrated Financial Strategies since 2020 and plays an important role in shaping the culture and overall client experience of the firm. She works closely with the team to support a welcoming, relationship-focused environment for both clients and staff, helping ensure that every interaction reflects the firm’s values and commitment to service.

Terri splits her time between her two homes in Nebraska and Colorado. She enjoys spending her free time swimming, biking, or with her large, blended family.

TABITHA PAZZALI

Client Service Associate

Tabitha brings a diverse background in client service, sales, relationship management, and operations to her role as Client Service Associate at Integrated Financial Strategies. As one of the first points of contact for clients, she helps with day-to-day service needs, coordinates requests, and works closely with the team to ensure clients receive a responsive and thoughtful experience. A natural people person, Tabitha enjoys building genuine relationships, asking the right questions, and making complicated conversations feel a little less complicated. Her approach is simple: listen well, communicate clearly, and always follow through. 

Originally from Illinois, Tabitha has happily called Colorado home for the past nine years, where she lives with her husband, son, and golden retriever. When she’s not working with clients, you’ll likely find her working out, at a Scouting activity, or cheering from the sidelines at one of her son’s many sporting events. She loves spending time with family and friends and believes there’s always room for a little fun along the way.
